Ocr Level 3 In Health Social Care & Early Years

What is the OCR Level 3 National in Health, Social Care and Early Years Qualification?
The OCR Level 3 National in Health, Social Care and Early Years is a nationally recognised professional qualification awarded by Oxford Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts (OCR), and accredited onto the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). It is made up of 3 different awards:

1. Certificate:

Duration : 1 year
Modules: Candidates are required to complete 6 modules:
Working to quality practice in care settings. Advanced First Aid & Health & Safety
Working with service users in care settings Career Panning for the Health, Social Care & Early Years’ Sector
Behavioural awareness in care. Applied practical care in settings

2. Diploma

Duration : 2 years
Modules: Candidates are required to complete 12 modules, including the 6 modules at the certificate level plus the following:
Introduction to Counseling Skills Understanding Medical Aspects of Health
Coping with Stress in Care Setting Developing Skills for Care Assistant
Applied Nutrition  & Dietetics for Service Users

Working in Early Years & Care Education

     Setting

3. Extended Diploma.

Duration : 3 years
Candidates are required to complete 18 modules including the 12 units at the Diploma level and all the units from one of specialty pathways:
